Celebrating fifty years of service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Station Taxis Ltd has been operating in the Haywards Heath area and is continually expanding in order to provide an efficient service.

The secret of the success has been due to the selection of the staff, both in the office and the quality of drivers and vehicles. The vast majority of the vehicles are owned by the career minded drivers. Station Taxis Ltd has a strict code of conduct to which all the drivers and vehicles must adhere to, in addition all drivers and vehicles are annually vetted by both Mid-Sussex District council and the Police. The Local Authority sets the fares and all cars are fitted with approved meters.

In order to cope with the high demand all journeys are despatched to individual cars through our real time computer aided booking and despatch system.

At the end of 2005 opened a new call centre which has permitted us to increase the number of phone lines and has the capacity (and physical space) for more receptionists to answer the phones, at the same time we updated our booking/dispatch system which now offers such additional services as RingBack, where if requested we can automatically call you on your phone when we are outside. (Very useful if you are at a Restaurant or party.)

Advance bookings can be made by telephone: 01444 230230, Fax: 01444 254454 and Email. When e-mailing a booking we will send you an e-mail confirmation, the booking is not confirmed until you have received this confirmation.

Other services include standing order bookings, courier services, and assisted care.

As well as accepting cash and cheques all cars accept all major credit cards (cards are processed electronically in our office) with a minimum fare of £10.00p and a 5% charge. It is also possible for regular users and companies to open a monthly payment account, Account Request Form.
