Maximum Fares To Be Charged With Effect
From 1st April 2009

Station Taxis Ltd offers a range of fixed fares for popular destinations such as Air and Sea ports. Local fares, less than 30 miles, are governed by Mid-Sussex District Council rates shown below. Tariff 1 Applies to all hiring's except those mentioned in Tariff's 2 & 3  
Mileage If the distance does not exceed 546 meters (598 yards) or a combination of distance and time or part thereof. £2.80p
  For each subsequent 161 meters (176 yards) or part thereof. .20p
Waiting Time For each period of 40 seconds or part thereof. .20p
   
Tariff 2 Applies to all hiring's begun between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. on weekdays and 12 midnight and 8.30 a.m. on Sundays, after 8 p.m. on 24th and 31st December, all day 26th December, Good Friday and Public and Bank Holidays  
Mileage If the distance does not exceed 546 meters (598 yards) or a combination of distance and time or part thereof. £4.20p
  For each subsequent 161 meters (176 yards) or part thereof. .30p
Waiting Time For each period of 40 seconds or part thereof. .30p
 
Tariff 3 Applies to all hiring's from 00.01hrs on December 25th to midnight December 25th.  
Mileage If the distance does not exceed 546 meters (598 yards) or a combination of distance and time or part thereof. £5.60p
  For each subsequent 161 meters (176 yards) or part thereof. .40p
Waiting Time For each period of 40 seconds or part thereof. .40p
 
Additional Charges Subject to the Licensed capacity of the vehicle, the driver when carrying 6 or more passengers is entitled to charge Tariff 2  
  Soiling Charge £40.00
Emergency Fuel Surcharge To be applied to each £5 of indicated metered fare or part thereof during periods when pump prices reach:  
A £1.40p to £1.64p per litre .25p
B £1.65p to £1.89p per litre .40p
C £1.90p per litre or over .60p
